INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
SSEP partners with under-served community schools to improve the physical infrastructure, access to educational resources and provide students and teachers with an enriched educational experience through:
- Infrastructure support including building materials, repairs and supplies to address structural challenges of partner schools and programming needs of the classrooms.
- Facilitates accelerated educational programs including tutoring, debate clubs and extra classes.
- Medical outreach programming is held to help increase the student and faculty access to free basic medical treatments and preventative care.
Individual needs are identified through collaboration with school staff and administrators.
Outcomes include improved physical structure, increased supplies available to students, increased teacher engagement, improved attendance, student retention and graduation rates, environment conducive to learning, improve access to educational support, provide innovative lessons to increase student confidence and desire to learn.
